• The game begins with the player to the left of the dealer, each player removes a card from the top of their stack and places it face-up on a pile next to it.
• During the gameplay, if any player runs out of cards in the face down pile, those cards lying face up are turned down and the game continues.
• According to the Snap card game rules, the first person to yell 'Snap!' removes both face-up heaps and adds them to the bottom of their own stack.
• Play continues and each player should flip the card they wish to transfer from their face-down pile to their face-up pile. By doing this, the player makes sure that their rivals have an equal opportunity to view the card before them.
• The cards go to the center of the playing area to create the Snap Pot if two or more players shout Snap! Someone may yell 'Snap Pot!' and take possession of all the cards in the center if the top card from the Snap Pot matches any of the players' top cards. The winner is the one who wins both piles, all of the cards in the game.
