Call Break Glossary
Ace
A deck of cards contains 4 aces. Each suit has 1 ace.
Bid
Bid is an estimation of the number of hands a particular player will win based on their cards. All Call Break games begin with bidding where players have to declare how many hands they will win.
Deal
Dealing is the act of distributing cards to players in a game. The player who deals the cards is called a dealer.
Hand
A hand in Call Break is one where all players have thrown their best card possible to win a game. The player who manages to either throw the highest ranked card or a trump wins that hand.
Trump suits
Spade is the trump suit in Call Break. It will beat any other card of other suits, no matter which rank they carry. However, if the round is being played with spades, then the rank of the cards is considered in order to win a bid.
